Energy Production was established in 1982 as an Italian independent company by two famous DJs and great friends, Alvaro Ugolini and Dario Raimondi Cominesi. Energy has operated in the music business for more than 23 years as a record company and music publisher with offices in Rome, Milan and Lodi.

Energy releases different kinds of music on its four main labels: X-Energy (1982): commercial, pop-dance – d:vision (1991): house, underground – Extreme / Next (1991): trance, techno, progressive – and Cool d:vision (1995): electro, nu-jazz, lounge and world music, with a focus on beautiful graphics and packaging.
